Story
Stringer “one-off Teles” started out in 2008 as a hobby that developed into an obsessive addition. Since then, Strat and other body styles as well as some 4 and 5 string basses have been added to the availability list.
All bodies, necks and most pickups are hand crafted from scratch without any CNC, computers or robots. Although this means there may very well be some shall we say “cosmetic character” The sound and playability are of custom shop quality or they don’t leave the bench.

Repair / Modifications
Most repairs on Fender and Gibson style electric guitars are available. (sorry no acoustics) From a basic setup to a total resto-mod most of your wants can be handled in a reasonable turn around time. Custom scatter wound single coil pickups can be purchased with or without installation.
Custom Builds
Custom builds for the individual client is my passion. That’s where the customer decides as many aspects of the guitar as possible. Wood type for body, neck and fretboard, painted or stained Comfort contours if desired. Fretboard radius and fret size. Pickup configuration All the players choice. Depending on the order build time is generally between 60 and 90 days. Texted photos along the way are available from a slab of lumber to the finished instrument. A “fitting” if you will is an option for body contours and neck shape.
