I lot of what is in stock is what you would call “new old stock” I am always building. If I don’t have a custom build or repair on my bench at the moment I’m working on a personal project. Sometimes a get an idea in my head about a look or want to try something new so a new ax is born. Then it’s stored away and on to the next. When I build a spec. Guitar I use a 12″ radius fretboard with medium frets (Fender standard) and a dual action truss rod. C shape back. When I wind pickups I usually over wind just a bit. Especially Tele bridge pups. I always thought vintage was a little weak and thin. Some guitars I have more money invested than others and some were built longer age than others so prices vary.
